My Story

After a past in auto mechanics, mechanical drafting, and designing top–end aerospace armor, I finally discovered that nothing is more satisfying to me than designing a tool that I can create, hold in my hand, and appreciate for a lifetime.

I love designing and creating custom kitchen knives that hold special features for high ­performance in the kitchen environment for professionals and enthusiasts alike. 

My steel comes from a quality East Coast vendor. It's more expensive up front, but they provide a superior product that, in my experience, really excels in performance.

I hand ­select most woods from a local exotic wood vendor in Portland, Oregon. Portland is an area I have grown up loving while enjoying life, product ­design, triathlons, and the creation of high-end custom kitchen knives.
