My steel comes from a quality East Coast vendor. It's more expensive up front, but they provide a superior product that, in my experience, really excels in performance.
I hand select most woods from a local exotic wood vendor in Portland, Oregon. Portland is an area I have grown up loving while enjoying life, product design, triathlons, and the creation of high-end custom kitchen knives.
