Being a knife nerd and passionate home cook, I started looking into quality knives early on. Apart from superior performance and craftsmanship it was also the visual appeal of combining so many materials that fascinated me. I started making knives with a couple of vintage chef knives that needed a lot of love and restoration. Rust removal, re-beveling, new handles, sharpening. From here it was only a small step to wanting to make my own.
